The study "Towards a national strategy for bus transport and tourism", carried out by the Politecnico di Milano - Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, aims to analyse the public bus transport market and, by studying the demand for services and the travel behaviour of tourists, its current and potential role in the tourism sector. The relationships and possible links with local public transport and the open bus and cruise segments will be analysed in order to establish the role and impact of car transport on tourism and to identify potential strategic lines of development.
