For three days, Milan will be the Italian capital of mobility. In fact, from 8 to 10 May, NME-Next Mobility Exhibition, the biennial event dedicated to vehicles, solutions, technologies and policies for a truly sustainable mobility system, will return to the pavilions of Fiera Milano at Rho. The 3-day event promises to be an opportunity to take stock of how the sector – industry, operators, associations and the academic world – is facing the challenges of the energy and digital transition, which has also inevitably brought positive disruption to the world of passenger transport. This is a world that is experiencing a continuous and profound transformation – a world for which NME wants not only to be a showcase and stage, but also a promoter.
As far as exhibitors are concerned, there will be a wide range of manufacturers from the bus and coach industry, as well as fitters, parts manufacturers and system and software suppliers. These are key players, as well as fundamental parts of a supply chain that wants to show the world its strengths.
On the software side, thanks to the presence of Club Italia members, the offering will meet the various needs related to the development of electronic ticketing, new applications of artificial intelligence and MaaS. There will also be ideas for charging infrastructure and a focus on services presented by long-distance operators and public transport companies.
